I have read it so many times, and even though I am man, I cry everytime when Jude's son kills Sue and Jude's children which leads to Sue returning to her husband. <br /><br />Yes Sue and Jude are fighting against society at the time. Yearning to be different in their beliefs and lifestyle..I can't see that much has really changed in Britain today.
