I spent my early life fighting apartheid in South Africa and discrimination in the USA. Now in my 70's, I have watched the liberal left introduce the very grouping that they claimed to have despised - albeit instead of race ID, we now have cultural identity, gender identity, sexuality identity etc etc. The conservatives have been no better, following this nonsense along and represent no discernibly different philosophy. Unless the media/political monolith is broken up, I expect UKIP with grow. Not that they will be any better - Farage may be of the libertarian right, but most of UKIP are statists and share no philosophy of government. I expect it's going to be a bumpy ride for a few years. For an alternative view of politics, read Liam Halligan in the Spectator of 31st May 2014.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5133176631661920943.post-75246589895909972852014-05-31T14:48:09.496+01:002014-05-31T14:48:09.496+01:00Identity politics creates jobs in the race relatio...Identity politics creates jobs in the race relations industry.
